Bucktooth Handyman Co. (“Bucktooth,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Information you give us
We collect the information you enter into the forms on this website.
Contact form. Your name, email address, telephone number, and a description of what you need help with. You may also tell us how you heard about us, which is optional.
Dump trailer rental request. Your name, email address, telephone number, the delivery address where you want the trailer placed, the dates you are requesting, a description of what you are clearing out, and information about where and on what surface the trailer will sit. You may also attach photographs of the delivery area and tell us how you heard about us. Both are optional.
We ask for a delivery address so we can confirm the location is in our service area and plan a safe placement. We ask for photographs for the same reason.
If you call, text, or email us instead, we keep the information you give us in that message.
Housecall Pro
Two things on this website are handled by Housecall Pro, a scheduling and business management service: booking an estimate and requesting a dump trailer rental. Both open a page hosted by Housecall Pro, so you leave our website to complete them. The information you enter there — including your name, contact information, service or delivery address, appointment or rental details, and any photographs you attach — is collected and stored by Housecall Pro on our behalf, under Housecall Pro’s own privacy practices.
If your property is in our extended service area, an $85 trip charge is collected when you book an estimate. Payment card details are handled by Housecall Pro and its payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Photographs you send us
Photographs you attach to a trailer rental request may show your driveway, yard, gate, house, or whatever else is in the frame. They are received and stored by Housecall Pro on our behalf. We use them only to plan and carry out the work you asked about. We do not publish them, and we do not share them outside the people working on your project.
Photographs we take
We photograph completed projects for our portfolio and use them on our website and social media. We do not publish photographs showing house numbers, street signs, mail, or anything else that identifies a customer’s address, and we do not publish photographs of identifiable people without their permission.
Information collected automatically
Our web host and security software record standard technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate and protect the website.
When you visit this site, Google Analytics records which pages you view, your approximate location, the type of device and browser you use, and how you arrived at the site.
The Meta pixel records that you visited and what you did here, such as submitting an estimate request, so we can measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram are working. You can turn both off — see Your choices about tracking below.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, prepare and deliver estimates, schedule and perform work, communicate with you about your project, and improve our website and services.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes, apart from the analytics and advertising tools described under Information collected automatically.
Service providers
We use third-party services to operate this website and our business. These include our website host, a website security service, the form software that receives contact form messages and stores them on our website, Google Workspace, which delivers the email our website sends and holds the messages we receive, and Housecall Pro, which handles estimate booking, trailer rental requests, scheduling, and project management. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Google and Meta are different. The analytics and advertising tools described above send information to those companies, and they may use it for their own purposes, including improving their advertising systems. Their own privacy policies govern what they do with it.
Cookies
This website uses cookies necessary for the site to function and to improve performance, including caching and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the site works.
Your choices about tracking
This site uses Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel. Google Analytics tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they read. The Meta pixel lets us see whether ads we run on Facebook or Instagram bring people here. Neither tool tells us who you are by name.
You can turn both off. These settings live with Google and Meta, not with us, so they apply across every site you visit, not only this one.
Google Analytics. Install Google’s official opt-out add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. It stops the Google Analytics code that runs on websites from sharing information about your visit with Google Analytics. The setting is per browser, so installing it in one browser does not cover another browser or your phone.
Meta. In the Facebook or Instagram app, go to Settings, then Accounts Center, then Your information and permissions, then Your activity off Meta technologies. From there you can disconnect past activity and turn off future activity. Meta explains these settings at https://www.meta.com/help/accounts-center/841741830388205/.
Advertising companies generally. The Digital Advertising Alliance’s WebChoices tool covers many advertising companies at once: https://optout.aboutads.info/. For mobile apps, AppChoices: https://youradchoices.com/appchoices.
Your browser. Most browsers offer a Do Not Track setting, and some support Global Privacy Control. This site does not currently respond to either signal. Use the tools above instead.
How long we keep information
We retain customer and project information as long as necessary to serve you, honor our workmanship warranty, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We keep form submissions that do not lead to a project for as long as they may still be useful in answering your inquiry.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
